All Hallows Eve in a Haunted Alvinston

Nikko with this year’s pumpkin carvings!

Most people in the community know that I enjoy Halloween each year through decorations and Halloween costumes. At times I have been known to do friends make-up as well for their costumes. I decorate my home, after all i feel living in a church is the perfect place for this. Already it leans towards having a spookier atmosphere.

Well this year was no different.

Ready for this years Trick Or Treaters to arrive.

I decided that the perfect costume would be Valek the Nun that first appeared in The Conjuring 2. I was convinced it was perfect to me especially since I purchased contacts that would turn my eyes bright yellow while turning the whites back. Little did I know that my eyes would reject my plans.

Even so the costume was perfect for handing out candies while doing my job of scaring children! Over the years I know certain families like to make a point of stopping in to see how I am dressed. Even with the evening turning into a quite chilly one which did bring out fewer children to Church Street from last year I still managed to frighten three teenage girls into a scream once they realized I wasn’t a statue!!!

When these Girls first saw me sitting in the doorway they screamed when i moved as they thought i was a statue!

This year I also asked for photos of most of my visitors. A trade of sorts for the candies. Photos that I am sharing in this post!

Once the evening slowed to a close I was able to lock up my church and head over to Walnut Street to the spookiest location. Please enjoy the photos and videos while i begin planning for next year!
